Warranty

Sturdi-Shed a division of Ulrich of Texas, LLC warrants to the original purchaser, that your Sturdi-Shed product is free of defects in material and workmanship upon delivery, and will repair or replace any components that do not provide reasonable service under normal use, for a period of fifteen (15) years from the date of purchase (with exception to a 30 day warranty if no paint is purchased and then paint is not installed per LP guidelines or other downgrades that impact warranty are purchased). Correction by repair or replacement of materials or workmanship in your Sturdi-Shed product, which our examination shall disclose to our satisfaction to be defective, shall constitute fulfillment of all liabilities of Sturdi-Shed under this warranty. In order for this warranty to be valid, all exposed Pressure Treated wood surfaces must be resealed every 18 months (proof of sealer purchase required); on all products an annual preventive maintenance completed for all hardware, proper replacement of roofing damage caused by hail, wind or other Acts of God in a timely manner, and ensure all drainage around product ensure appropriate drainage and that all water sprinklers do not expose Product to irrigation water. Repairs must be made within 30 days for anything found through routine maintenance inspections. Sturdi-Shed shall not be liable for any installation or re-installation costs or for the natural characteristic of some wood to split, warp, or twist. Furthermore, if Product is moved from its original location by any party other than Ulrich or its affiliates the warranty will be null and void. The warranty printed above is the only warranty applicable to this purchase. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED. Sturdi-Shed SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR PUNITIVE, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES TO CONTENTS OF YOUR STURDI-SHED PRODUCT AND LOST PROFITS. THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF STURDI-SHED UNDER THIS WARRANTY, INCLUDING LABOR, IS LIMITED TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF YOUR Sturdi-Shed PRODUCT. Sturdi-Shed does not assume and does not authorize any other person to assume for it any other liability in connection with the sale of this Sturdi-Shed product. This warranty shall not apply to any Sturdi-Shed product or any part thereof which has been damaged by fire, flood, water, earthquake, earth movement, hail, wind, adverse weather conditions, vandalism, theft, act of God, accident or other event, or a casualty which is customarily covered by homeowners’ insurance or umbrella insurance. The warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse, misuse, alteration, neglect, or improper maintenance. Sturdi-Shed makes no warranties whatsoever with respect to accessories or parts incorporated into your product where the supplier or manufacturer of those materials has warranties on such materials which exceed the warranty set forth above. Sturdi-Shed assumes no liability thereunder and the Buyer must assert any claim under such warranties against such supplier or manufacturer. The terms “Original Purchaser” and “Buyer”, as used in this warranty, shall mean that person for whom the Sturdi-Shed product is originally assembled and installed. This warranty shall apply only within the boundaries of the Continental United States. The warranty is fully transferrable to a new owner as long as the building is in its original location and the Original Purchaser notifies Sturdi-Shed in writing within 60 days of such transaction by mail addressed to: SturdiShed, Attn: Warranty Transfers, PO BOX 2797, Cleburne, TX 76033. The Buyer acknowledges that no other representations or warranties were made to or relied upon by him or her with respect to the quality or function of the goods herein sold. Claims under this warranty must be made prior to the expiration of the warranty and within sixty (60) days after the defect is discovered and must be made to Sturdi-Shed, by calling 817-506-4405. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and/or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, that vary from state to state. LEVELING IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY: Due to the weight of your Sturdi-Shed product and your ground conditions, natural settling of the product may occur over time and it may become necessary to re-level the building. This limited warranty does not include re-leveling. Sturdi-Shed will provide this service for a reasonable fee.
